Considering the price is almost half your basic set of retail sheets I decided to give them a try. The microfiber is tightly woven compared to traditional mid-range percale. The gray slabs have a satin sheen that cannot be seen on the product images and appear lighter than expected. As I purchased king size sheets, 2 king size pillowcases were included which were traditional (pocket) pillowcases with no extra flaps etc. The fitted sheet and top sheet consist of 1 piece of fabric. I only find it necessary to mention this because at the same time I bought a second set of sheets from another company for about the same price that were made in a less traditional way by joining 2 or more smaller sections of fabric together. I will definitely buy more. Now that I know they are worth the money. It needs to be determined if they hold up over time with repeated washing.
