Review on Thule EnRoute Backpack 3203586 - Black Backpacks by Catherine Foht

Nice and with enough space to carry my work essentials. Thule Rules!

Being the first to write a review I will try to cover all points. Feeling. The materials are the same as other Thule bags. it's pretty easy. I can compare it to the Thule Crossover 25L and it really is its little brother. Safe Zone: Here you can put your sunglasses, it's hard on the outside but soft on the inside, it's quite big and you can put your wallet and cell phone in it. External zip: the compartment also fits an iPad mini (I did but I don't recommend it as there is no cushion on this part). The space is fairly flat so you can only put small or flat items. Also on one of the photos from the inside you can see some light from the outer compartment which I left open so the inner fabric isn't that thick for that part. Main Compartment: When I first opened it, I felt the zipper unzip. a little tight, now when I fully unzip the zipper, it opens up pretty well. Laptop sleeve: Doesn't end at the bottom of the backpack, leaves about two inches of space, you can feel some padding. under the sleeve that protects the laptop. The bottom of the backpack itself is not padded. I put down my laptop (Dell E6330 13.3 inch with extended battery) and you can see it barely fits. The rubber strap has issues but I think a thinner laptop would fit better. That's the only thing I don't like, with Thule Crossover 25L I installed the same laptop and it leaves some free space. As it's too tight I don't see myself in a laptop sleeve, just dropping the laptop into the main compartment. The main compartment offers enough space for a book and a little more (perhaps for in-ear headphones?). The bottom is shaped like a trapezoid so you can fill it up a bit without it becoming as bulky. There is also a second case big enough for an iPad mini. The inner zip is even flatter than the outer zip and has the same width as the second sleeve. The straps are slightly padded but not as wide. Don't expect this bag to be heavily loaded. Overall this is a good little backpack, it has the professional slim look I was looking for, it's well made and is the only compromise of a laptop bag. Some people will feel a bit shy when opening it, but at least I'm used to it. I've added a few photos so you can judge for yourself! Enjoy!
