This photo is not 20l.

The picture shows Encore 23L and when I ordered 20L I received 23L (which is a more expensive pack) but I returned it for 20L. The 20-litre model is a little odd, as accessing the top requires first unbuckling two buckles and then two zips. It takes a little time, but it also means more can be added by simply undoing the buckle straps. There are two side entrances, one for laptop and tablet and the other at an angle for the main compartment. All access can be through these side zips, which is…

Almost perfect but totally useless feature

Fantastic bag with plenty of room for my laptop, QC35s, notepad, travel pillow, iPad in a dedicated pocket and light jacket. It's big enough to fit under an airplane seat and leave leg room. Small items can be conveniently stowed in the front pocket with vertical zipper. The water bottle pockets are nondescript but fit a large backup battery. The bag is very beautiful, well made and very comfortable. Although it would be nice to be able to hang it on the handle of a suitcase - the chest strap…

Beautiful design, perfectly functional

I bought this backpack to cycle to the office. I wanted a well-designed backpack that was more structured than the one I use, easy to reach, and good looking (i.e. didn't look like a large bag on my back). I've done a fair amount of research online on Thule and other brand backpacks. This backpack ticks all of my boxes and more. It's about as comfortable as a backpack can be, the padded back (the part that sits against my back when I wear it) has enough stiffness to not feel like the…

Minimalist backpack - Enough for the essentials

The minimalist backpack I was looking for. For the past few months I've been lugging a full-size Swiss Army laptop backpack to and from work. I've gotten a little carried away with minimalism, getting rid of things I don't need, and I thought, why am I carrying around a bulky, heavy backpack that's not even half full? There are literally a dozen or more compartments and zippers, making it a bit difficult to find things I don't use often. So the search for a lighter backpack in a smaller size…

The best option for your daily commute!

This is the most durable backpack I have ever used. Thule EnRoute combines messenger bags, one-shoulder backpacks and traditional backpacks. It's the perfect size and well balanced to carry the things you need to get the job done. The backpack is thin and compact, which is very handy when traveling on public transport and working in busy areas - you don't have to worry about bumping into people and/or knocking over things in the shop. The outer shell is also easy to clean if it gets dirty in…

Nice and with enough space to carry my work essentials. Thule Rules!

Being the first to write a review I will try to cover all points. Feeling. The materials are the same as other Thule bags. it's pretty easy. I can compare it to the Thule Crossover 25L and it really is its little brother. Safe Zone: Here you can put your sunglasses, it's hard on the outside but soft on the inside, it's quite big and you can put your wallet and cell phone in it. External zip: the compartment also fits an iPad mini (I did but I don't recommend it as there is no cushion on this…
