Minimalist backpack - Enough for the essentials

The minimalist backpack I was looking for. For the past few months I've been lugging a full-size Swiss Army laptop backpack to and from work. I've gotten a little carried away with minimalism, getting rid of things I don't need, and I thought, why am I carrying around a bulky, heavy backpack that's not even half full? There are literally a dozen or more compartments and zippers, making it a bit difficult to find things I don't use often. So the search for a lighter backpack in a smaller size began. I frequented regular brick and mortar stores but most of the good quality backpacks I found were full size. I loved the clean look of the Thule backpacks and the lightweight fabric and took a chance by ordering this one. For me it's the perfect size. Basically, I carry around my Surface Pro + keyboard, power bank, backup battery, packed lunch, keys, wallet, phone and wireless headphones. A large main compartment with a padded laptop compartment, tablet compartment and inner zip pocket. My lunch bag and Surface Pro fit in nicely, and I have plenty of room for other things if I want to. Plenty of room in the laptop compartment that I put my Surface Pro in. Looks big enough to fit most 14-15 inch laptops. The outer top zip compartment is sturdy and secure. Suitable for cell phone, wallet, keys, glasses, etc. The bag also has a good size flat zipped compartment. The lower front mesh pocket is perfect for one of those sleek vacuum water bottles. Simple, clean, elegant.
