Review on πŸ“Ί ECHOGEAR EGLF2 Full Motion TV Wall Mount: Swivel, Tilt, & Extension for big TVs up to 90 inches - Universal Design compatible with Samsung, Vizio, TCL & more - Includes Drilling Template by Lokesh Das

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good assembly, entertaining installation instructions. A problem.

First of all. The authors of the guide had a good sense of humor. So thanks for that! For a review! It actually needs 2 people. This mount is quite heavy so inserting the screws while holding it alone is almost impossible. But the template simplified the placement of the holes so they line up with the studs. The freedom of movement is decent. but that doesn't really bother me. It's mounted how and where I want it (and face). If you're looking for a mount that lets you move your TV around so you can see it around the house (e.g. when you're washing dishes in the kitchen), maybe you should keep looking. The ONLY reason this got four (and a half if I could) stars instead of five: The part pictured (this is the part that was supposed to block the tilt) broke the thread when I was trying to tighten it. But using a thread gauge I found that this is a 6x1 metric. A trip to Home Depot and 90 cents later, it works like a charm. I would like to add that I didn't contact the support team but I'm sure they would have sent a replacement. But I'm just impatient. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. A few tips if you're buying this: Buy an 18mm M6x1 bolt. Get an extra pair of hands. Set aside for about an hour. Mount the TV on brackets, who are lower than you. think (so that the tilting mechanism works against less weight): and therefore mount the wall bracket a little higher (if you are very selective and want to, so your TV is EXACTLY in position XXX) The part shown (this is the part that has the tilt should jam) loosened the threads the MOMENT I tried to tighten it.
