I decided to replace my everyday items with leather items in hopes that they would last longer. I think it will take time, with a few quibbles. The laces on the strap are untied and the back of the bag shows signs of rubbing from rubbing against me while walking. The separate compartment for my 15" laptop is too small so I can't use the strap to hold it. Space, although my laptop is a bit deeper than most modern laptops. So if you love your fancy calculator, it might be a better fit. In general I am satisfied. Looks good, feels good, expect many years of it.
