I bought these Philips Hue bulbs for my front yard as they are very small (I only need 4 bulbs) and I wanted to make them myself (so it should have been easy). This product is fully compliant! It was very easy to install - there was no need to add a transformer as that is already included in this power supply. In addition to the power supply, I bought a Calla street light, three Lily XL street lights, three extension cords and a Hue bridge. I am very happy with the results. I was concerned that the light from the Lily XL spotlights would be too wide (I wanted regular spotlights but they were sold out) but I found these spotlights cast a nice soft glow on the large tree and gently framed my front windows. emphasize the architecture of my house. I have an Echo Dot that can be used in place of the Hue Bridge, but I've decided to buy a bridge instead as I don't use my Echo Dot all the time. Setup was very easy. I downloaded the app and it's easy for me to change the colors and lighting modes. These bulbs are a bit more expensive compared to other landscape lighting options, but the Philips Hue landscape lighting was the best option for me as I didn't need as many lights. If I had a large yard and needed more light, or if I knew I never want to change the colors of the light, it may make sense for me to purchase other landscape lights. But for me it was perfect! It has rained several times since I installed these lights and it has been below freezing at night. So far there are no problems.
