This tent is excellent although I had to fight between 4 and 5 stars. In the end I chose 5 because. It's so cheap in price that it's hard to complain. First of all, it weighs 4.7 pounds with EVERYTHING including all stakes, sacks and floor space. You could probably save a maximum of 2 or 3 ounces by swapping courses, but that's about it. To make a 2 man tent lighter you will need trekking poles. Other lightweight tents in this price range advertise less weight than this but that is misleading as they advertise a little under 4lbs but this is like a UL rig with no inner tent. When you remove the inner tent from this tent it will likely weigh around 3 pounds, but if you want to be that minimalist you should just learn how to build a tarp shelter. The tent is very durable and waterproof. I don't think I would go so far as to call this a four season tent as it doesn't retain heat inside but stays very dry. It's also incredibly easy to set up - maybe 5 minutes - max 10 minutes if you're new to tent pitching. The really cool feature is how the fly, inner fly and base fit together. There are clips on the 4 corners - male on the outer fly and female on the inner fly and trail so you can attach the outer fly to either of these two depending on whether you are using an inner fly or not. The tent poles fit and connect to both the base and inner tent at the same time. My only complaint about the tent is that there aren't enough pockets in the tent. There is a small pocket above the flap but no side pockets or hanging shelf in the middle. There is a hook to hang a tent lantern or something similar. As said, it's hard to complain given the tent's simplicity and light weight.
