Pretty good, best mics

Bought these as a backup for my backup. It never hurts to have enough backups - I'm currently using the Rode Wireless Go ii. I've heard good things about SYNCO - I decided to give it a try, the price is good and the sound quality is actually quite good. The form factors are similar in size to the Rode Wireless Go ii. I would definitely recommend this as a budget alternative to the Rode Go version 01. Although the G2 comes with a BIG accessory than the Rode Go version. 1. What I like: - Comes with a sturdy carrying case that fits everything - Comes with a Lava microphone - Comes with DSLR/mirrorless cables AND a smartphone cable (no adapter included) - Small form factor - Easy to install buttons - Good build quality - Soft plastic, seems durable for everyday use - Sounds good for regular speech - Dual USB-C cable for charging - Easy to read LCD screen - Receiver has a headphone jack for monitoring audio - Automatically connects Which I don't likes: - Love connects from the side of the transmitter and places it in a place where it can be pulled out or accidentally put down. Poor placement in my opinion - The sound floor is quite high (a lot of white noise) - Love's microphone is huge so it's hard to hide behind clothes - The mute button is VERY EASY to press accidentally, wish I there would be a hold function or slider instead - No backup recording Rode Wireless Go ii - The main plastic area is a fingerprint magnet (not easy to wipe off). Overall this is a great wireless audio system. I've had no problems using it at home and I haven't had any major connection problems. I would definitely recommend this system to all home content creators and/or anyone who needs a decent backup. Also great for live streaming on your phone. UPDATE 9/24/21: I've had them in my drawer for about 2 months - I've decided I want to use them as a backup for the work ahead. I knew he would be dead when I grabbed her. Well, they failed as a backup. Tried plugging them into multiple outlets, power adapters, computer ports, etc. No nothing. Hmmmm, now I'm SUPER disappointed. I'm giving one star because it just doesn't work right now. At this point I no longer recommend this product. Better buy a Rode Wireless Go 1 or if you have the money a Go 2. Heck I guess I'll throw them out unless someone knows how to fix this?

Pros
  • Stable transmission 164ft/50m
Cons
  • Nothing here
