This device is really plug and play - open the carrying case, take the device out of the plastic bag, unwind the cable, plug it in and you're done. walk. (I'm using Windows 10 Pro) I like the fact that they designed a special place in the drive case to hold the cable that plugs into a standard USB port or newer smaller port. Much better than a separate loose cable. The silver and black colors match my computer colors. My computer was only equipped with a DVD drive - I can work with CDs with this drive.
