They agreed with all the comments in the research I did before purchasing. I read over two dozen reviews and not a single person said anything bad about the pens. The only complaints were the price - they're expensive and the lack of free stock to replace your most-used favorite colors. We all have one or two transitions to colors that seem to disappear before the rest of the colors are at least half used. Dry - the color turns easily to a glossy, even, dry color. This does not apply to other brands I use. Wet - colors are incredibly vivid and all pencil lines disappear. I only did small drawings so I dry all the shades and then use water to finish smoothing and add shine. So I don't know how they fit together in a large size. I researched lightfastness. They don't have the highest rating and I haven't run any tests so I have no real experience in this area. The bottom line is, I love them!
