I live in Southern California and this jacket is perfect for medium duty wear. I bought the burgundy color which looks amazing! I wear nice knit tops to work with jeans and moccasins and this jacket goes well with what I'm wearing. But I also feel like I can wear it with a t-shirt and sneakers, so it's very practical. I was a bit concerned about the size as I have a curvy, athletic build. Most reviews mention downsizing. Due to my bust size (38D) I usually wear large shirts and sometimes medium sized ones. I went up a size and bought a large one and it fit perfectly! I'm 5'3"/150 and the length was perfect, it came down to my thighs - not too short and not too long! The jacket isn't as bulky as I thought it would be. Remember this listing is for women (as indicated by the W in the product name) so I don't think downsizing is necessary unless you get the standard men's chest and buying a women's version, definitely stay true to size if you're not want it to shrink when you close your jacket. Much smaller chests can go down in size if you want a more tailored look and also don't plan on zipping up. And as for the label, I saw another reviewer also ordered a maroon color and had a spotted flight tag. Mine came with the standard red flight tag as I have seen on all other jackets.
