malfunction? for fitness and cross training

these are the THIRD pair of these shoes that I bought last year. I actually hit the first pair of reds I bought in May 2020. I've run several half marathons, walked through the woods and hikes and have been wearing it DAILY for over 8 months. I really smashed these shoes to death and love them. Daily brisk walks on the treadmill when not running on all types of terrain. I liked them so much I bought another pair of black ones. I didn't like the color as much as the red ones, but they're great shoes. So I bought a THIRD pair in February 2021. My first pair of red shoes came off all over the tread making them slippery and dangerous to wear. So I replaced them. But this pair of reds isn't that well built. The top layer is already torn and stretched from above. There are a few holes along the stitching and I can see the white rubber lining. The INTERIOR lining of the upper is ALSO perforated and extends away from the sole. It is now May 2021. I have managed these shoes very well because I have spare blacks for hiking and dirty work. These reds were only used for streetwear, shopping and outings. No treadmills, no hiking, no running, etc. And it was late February - May, and the left shoe is a mess. Three holes on an outer red background with white gum visible underneath. a large hole in the inner lining of the upper. Several tears along the sole of the shoe. Those reds don't last long. And I was GOOD with these. The first pair of red was my FAVORITE SHOE - EVER. Now that these are falling apart so quickly, I don't recommend spending your hard-earned cash on them. I also got soft soles last month. They are NOT intended for training. PUMA's soft sole is designed solely to look good and walk comfortably. They should be called "fashion shoes". Soles will crack and wear out after ONE hour on the treadmill. I took them to play tennis and they are light but the sole just tears. After all, PUMA might not suit me.
