security threat. fits Hot Pots

I loved this little pot for a few days; I used it to make an ode for two and it did a great job, but I had to watch out for the negative reviews. First, after a single use of boiling clean filtered water to clean, the bottom of the metal interior panel is discolored; it has an iridescent sheen, almost like oil. Water just shouldn't do it. Second, it is a serious security threat. The two heat levels are so incomparable that the low level is almost useless, but the high level is too high - and overcooks too easily. . I tried to make sure the pot was never more than half full of liquid, but I blinked for half a second and suddenly it foamed and splattered all over the place. Not only does this expose the user to the risk of splashing hot water, but the detachable nature of the plug means that water can easily enter the socket. When this first happened I didn't really notice as I thought it was sealed tight, but when I took the fork out to clean the entire pan I kept hearing the odd clicking sound. and realized it was coming from the plug that was still connected. to an outlet. The click was electricity, sparkling on the water in the plug holes. I took it off and let it dry, used it again. And this time the cork started to smoke. I've passed out again, and this time I'm just not going to risk it again. I'll try another hot pot, maybe a bigger one, but. I won't risk that.
