Perfect for my dog after paw surgery to remove a tumor between his toes! I originally used them over their bandages and bandages (like a cast) when taking them outside to the potty or to the vet (several times) and later used them with gauze pads when the bandages were no longer needed. Unfortunately, a new tumor has grown under one of her toenails and she had another operation last week to remove both toes with the tumor between them. So glad I ordered these despite my price swings because they work so well, they are easy to hand wash and hang dry and come in 2 pieces so one can be used while the other is washed and dried becomes. I'm using them again over her bandages and look forward to using them again with gauze bandages if the bandages come loose, but she still needs protection when she goes potty while her incision continues to heal.
