Sweat protection isn't true

I bought these wired headphones for long distance runs. I only ran 3-6 miles when I first started using them. I ran an 8 mile on Tuesday and when I used them on Thursday morning one of the earbuds didn't work. I had to keep working with the cable and moving it to get the static noise. I haven't had them in over 2 months. I suspect too much sweat got into the headphones from my long run. So!
