My lab puppy had a problem with loose stools even before I got him at 8 weeks old. He tested negative for worms and was dewormed twice but the problem persisted. It had no diarrhea but was soft enough to leave footprints on the floor when picked up. He took Nutrisource, then the Scientific Puppy Diet, then the Scientific Large Breed Puppy Diet with lamb and rice. Everything is unchanged. Then I decided to try this food, which contains no grain and has a few percent more fiber. Yes. Shaped and loose chair! He's also a picky eater, but these foods don't bother him. I wouldn't say he's crazy about it, but he'll eat it as long as he's a little hungry, and this guy tries to eat just about anything and everything. I'm just grateful his bowel movements are back to normal.
