This is my third OtterBox Defender. I had one for my iPhone 4 and my iPhone 5S. It's a little clunky and doesn't look very cool BUT I've dropped my phones many times with no damage or issues. In this case, unlike its predecessors, there's a slight sensitivity issue with the iPhone's screen protector and side controls, and you have to press harder than you'd like to get a response from the phone. Now I'm quite used to the extra pressure needed so that's not a problem, but be aware that this case might be a problem for you. However, the protection it offers is second to none in my opinion and well worth the small inconveniences. FYI, I first tried another iPhone 7Plus case, the X-Doria Defender, which fell victim to aesthetics, but the X-Doria, as pretty and seemingly protective as it was, resulted in dropped calls and poor reception .
