I ordered this little hair straightener to get my bangs. I have thick wavy hair (contrary to advertised characteristics) but I think it should only help with bangs! He is very small, it is comfortable to travel with him. It comes with a case for storage and a USB port for charging from a computer. I suppose you can also connect it to a wall adapter since it has two different ends. There were no instructions, but it was pretty easy to figure out. When I first plugged the USB connector into my laptop, there was a blue light on the blinking HIGH point. The bottom part was red and the other dots above it were solid blue. I have chosen to use the HIGH setting when my hair is thick and wavy. Once the straightener is fully charged, the flashing blue light will remain constant. I will say it's not hot at all outside which is nice. I took it off and took it to the bathroom and had to press the ON button for a few seconds and then press each heat setting until I reached HIGH. I ran it through my wavy bangs, straightening most of it but curling it at the ends. I'm showing a few different styles of my bangs because my bangs are so used to the center parting that it's difficult for them to do anything else. Also, I cut my bangs, and I don't think I did it very well, so it won't be right. I should have made them thicker. But compared to before there is a big difference. And I wanted that. I was happy with the results. It was hot enough for my thick, wavy hair. When I was done, I simply pressed the ON button for a few seconds until the blue light went out. There's really no way to put the straightener on while it's cooling (or in between styling), so I just laid it on its side and it was fine. It only took a few minutes to cool sufficiently to be removed. It also has a rubber stopper (see image 4) to hold both sides of the straightener together. It comes with a battery that's said to be 5000mAh (whatever that is). All in all, for the price, this is a very handy portable hair straightener. I love it!
