My dining room chairs (wood, informal) are designed so that the bottom of the chair is not flat; it is on a slight incline. No problem on carpet. But we laid new parquet, so the usual "Sticky Squares" felt gliders just didn't work. After a few days, the wear and tear was enough for the wood on the chair leg to rub against my new hardwood floor. I did some research and found these gorilla felt spinning pads and decided to give them a try. Most reviews were good, but a few people reported that the included screws broke and took a while to get them out of the chair leg. Several people recommended buying a different set of screws from the hardware store, which I did. Installation was easy, the chairs slide easily, and best of all, the wooden legs on the chairs don't scratch my new hardwood floor.
