Powerful and quiet pump! Unfortunately, there are a few downsides that are big downsides to me: 1) The flow rate isn't adjustable. I had to reduce it a bit, I probably need this pump at 80% of max flow. Moving the slider didn't change much 2) I bought it mainly for the air vent. Firstly, when you plug in this attachment, the size of the plug becomes smaller and there is no plug to enlarge it again. The product description shows a picture of the pump with 2 nozzle sizes, the instruction also shows 2 nozzle sizes (16mm and 13mm), but actually the pump comes with 1 nozzle adapter (16mm) and an aerator nozzle with 13mm outlet. If you're using an aerator you're stuck with a 13mm connector, which doesn't work for me. In addition to how the aerator works, water will leak out of the oxygen nozzle when the line is clogged. The description also states that when using an aerator the tube should come out of the tank and the nozzle should be flush with the bottom of the tank. The included cord is just under 20 inches long, which means it will fit an approximately 10 inch high tank. If you can run the pump at full capacity and don't need the aeration feature, this might be a good option for you. The one I got seemed pretty solid and quiet to me.
