TL; DR: This dashcam charger was the silver lining to my clumsy mistake and I am very happy with this product. I bought an Old Shark Dash Cam as an additional insurance policy about two years ago. I often drive in densely populated cities where accidents happen around every corner. I liked the DVR and even got requests from officers as I caught crashes with crystal clarity. Unfortunately I broke the original charger when I moved the dash cam to another vehicle and thought all hope was lost. I almost bit the bullet and bought another dash cam that wasn't nearly as great as the one I have now, but I'm so glad I checked in here first and found this charger. It works as advertised and I feel safe again when my DVR buddy is already recording my rides. Also, it has an extra feature that the other didn't have: a USB port to charge my phone. I needed a new one so this charger was a fantastic 2 in 1 purchase.
