Review on 🐾 iPrimio Monster Cat Litter Scooper: 17-Inch Long Handle, Soft Grip, Sturdy Deep Shovel - Ideal for Sensitive Hands by Michael Dunn

I know this was listed as extra large but thought it was related to the size of the handle. From the pictures I had no idea this thing would be the size of a snow shovel! But nonetheless, it was nice and sturdy, easy to hold, comfortable to grip, and I liked the sticker holder, which I placed in my bathroom cabinet so the dustpan wouldn't touch anything else. Using it was another matter. It takes up about 3/4 of the width of the toilet. I don't know if the cat owners who made this thing are used to removing lion cages. It's huge. But I figured it might work in my favor: just swipe my finger across the trash and I can pick it all up. Well, yes and no. The first problem is that the slots are too big. You can get big chunks, but small chunks go right through. I also love picking up trash to get rid of the smell, but I can't because this shovel doesn't have cross slots. Very large vertical slots only. The second problem is that the "paddle" doesn't fit in the pocket because it's so wide. When I scoop, I put all of the bait in the bag and slide it in to avoid any mess or spillage. This scoop is so big that the only way I can throw it away is to hold it in my pocket by the corner and empty it inside out. I'm afraid that this will tear the bag. The final issue, and it really broke the deal, is that the litter sticks to the paddle. I've been using a cheap plastic spatula for 2.5 years and it rarely sticks. If this is the case, a good smack to the side of the box will knock it over. With that it sticks every time and doesn't need to be smashed, it knocks down dirt and debris. I have to use toilet paper to wipe it off. Too much hassle to do it every time. While I really liked the concept of this giant scoop, it doesn't quite work for me.
