Setup is also very easy using your phone and the Smart Life app. Of course, if your Smart Life app is registered with Alexa, you can also manage it with Alexa. You can set the on/off schedule via Alexa or the device app. Like most smart devices of this type, they only use 2.4GHz WiFi, which is very common in modern homes. Other: + When each plug is powered on, a red arrow will light up indicating the active plug. Not too bright.+ When you turn off each plug on the device, a single blue indicator arrow lights up. Again, not too bright. + There is an audible click as each outlet is toggled on/off + Pressing the same individual arrows as above toggles the plugs on/off manually. + is easy to pair with the Alexa app. Alexa adds it as 3 devices. (1 device with 2 sockets = 3) Example: living room with lamp 1 and lamp 2 Basically cheaper than buying 4 separate smart sockets. I have individual smart plugs and inevitably wish they had a second plug that could be used as an always-on plug. They help with that and more.
