Diamond dust is the only way to go on strops! I put a my knife to get a little out of the bag by scooping it with my knife tip and rub it on my 8" x 3" strops. Once treated you can use the strop many times before reapplying the diamond dust. I cuts faster than any of the pastes that I have used and it doesn’t gue up the strop. Your blade glides across it like it has baby powder on it. It’s the only way to go.
