These 60 gel pens are nested in a nice box and none were broken or "dried up" when they arrived. They all write smoothly. It seems most of these pens have glitter or sparkle but that's ok with me. It's not an issue. For the money, these work much better than other sets I've purchased in the past. I've used these for several months before writing this review and I'm satisfied with their quality. With so many colors, they exceed my expectations. I deducted one star for the caps. Although I'm not rough with handling them, unfortunately the top covers or caps have broken on a few pens, the colors I use most and seem rather fragile. I know now to be more gentle! All in all, a good value.
