I was afraid my grandpas were too old for this, but they actually have quite a lot of fun with the set. It's well made for what it is, a bit flimsy but works. So many different parts and so many parts in the box. Kids can build so many different configurations and get creative. The colors are good too. Complaints only, VERY, VERY need to work by guidance. At first glance it looks so complicated and it's just done sadly, just a small piece of paper and black and white. Almost like it was an afterthought, or like they were too. Also, it looks like an engineer did it. It's no fun here. Now if they had something multi-tiered it wouldn't be so intimidating. And they give different builds. Of course, with this toy set, it's much more fun. This is a cool toy with the potential for hours of play and thought. would recommend.
