Read lots of stories online before trying. It seems to be recommended most by professionals and those serious about detailing. No frills, the packaging is very discreet, no marketing and the smell is pretty bad. Smells like old school cockroach spray. But honestly I don't care. I like other products like Turtle and Adams Wax Ice for their good scents and effectiveness, but when I'm working on something that I see as a big challenge and want to get results, the smell doesn't even take notice. . . for me in terms of considerations. Since most of the people reviewing this product are professionals or serious professionals, I feel like they are overcomplicating the stories. The instructions are simple and not too complicated. If you follow them to the letter T, this product is insanely easy to apply and rinse off. You don't need any special skills or experience to get the most out of it. I didn't do a full sanitization (I skipped the clay block) as my car is just over a year old, is in a garage and as I work from home is not too exposed to the elements. Fully washed then dried with waffle tissue. Microfiber (doesn't need to be completely dry or you'll get wet again) and then iron remover. (I have no preference, they all seem to do the job) Rub it into the paint and spray for a few minutes (can't let it dry on the paint) and repeated my drying with the same products. I sprayed the inside with IPA (I like CarPro) and wiped with a microfiber cloth. I heated Collinite 845 in hot water for about 10 minutes, gave it a very good shake and got to work with 2 microfiber applicator pads and 2 microfibers from Car Guys. Towels. Apply 4 dots per pad and fold to give full coverage on pad, then apply only 2 dots when reapplying. You don't need a lot of product, the thinner the better (from what I've read). I apply 2 swaths at a time, then go back and buff with the short side of the MF cloth. I attached 2 more panels, went back and buffed the section I had just finished with the long side of the MF cloth. (Optional, but wanted to be a little more thorough to make sure I removed all residue. Let dry overnight and apply a second coat the next morning. Impressions: Insanely easy to apply and remove. Accidentally used more product than intended. Feeling is the best thing I've ever experienced Total revelation, I don't take details seriously Wax was difficult to work with Difficult to polish and tended to leave white marks along the folds and surfaces It didn't help Over the past 10 years I've had others paid for wax so never knew what product they were using but nothing felt anywhere near as good as this one.Considering its use this product is known for its durability so have high hopes but can't rate that aspect yet. I will try to remind myself I will come back and update this review in 6 months ate when I'm ready to remove and reapply them. I'll also add a picture once it's sunny. I live in Miami and it rains and kids non-stop. It's also an important context in terms of future longevity. Heavy rain and humidity. Schedule maintenance with Adams Aerosol Wax during your regular washes. Given the usage and conditions around my car, I only wash once a month. (less than 5,000 miles a year pre covid) I was a little nervous about using a product that only the pros seem to use but the experience struck me with its simplicity and the results made me feel pretty good.
