Thinner but stronger

This stabilizer is thinner than the one I've used before, but it's actually much stronger and holds up better on my embroidery machine. It doesn't snap as easily as other stabilizers I've used, which means I can make sure it's taut without tearing the edges. It handles both large and small drawings very well and I am very happy with this stabilizer. The only thing I wouldn't recommend this stabilizer for is satin stitch embroidery on a regular sewing machine. I like to use stabilizer for this so the fabric doesn't get caught in the feed dog, but it's actually strong enough that it won't pull out of the stitches without pulling on the thread. It and I have no problem with satin stitches sewn on an embroidery machine as they are denser and stronger than what my regular machine can do and I have had no problem removing the backing from satin stitches made on an embroidery machine. It's actually another additional thing that an easy-to-tear stabilizer is better for, but I didn't buy this stabilizer for satin stitches, so I won't count it. All in all it's really great. Stabilizer for embroidery machines with 4" x 4" hoop and I'll happily buy it again when stock runs out. for this, an easy-to-tear stabilizer is better, but I didn't buy this stabilizer for satin stitches, so I won't count it.
