Review on B&R Plastics 152-6WH Folding Neat Seat - 15-inch, White: Compact, Portable & Convenient for Any Occasion by Scott Goff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect for reaching tall and light objects inside as long as you're not too tall or heavy!

I wanted a larger folding step stool and already have a 12" B&R stool and love it. I ordered another brand of 18" first because I wanted the largest possible, but it was ridiculously unstable and unsafe. It had no locking mechanism when open and it would collapse if my cat rubbed it while it was on it It also didn't have a non-slip part on all legs, half of the non-slip part didn't even reach the floor! Definitely don't buy the 18" model! Anyway, I finally found a 15" B&R. It's not as big as I'd like and it's not as stable as the 12" but it's much better than the 18". It doesn't latch like the 12" but the sides don't fold easily when standing on it as the tabs fully engage when open and support the weight. It also doesn't slip or slide on my tiles. I know it's not technically intended as a stool, but I use it as one. I wish they had a 15" or 16" model with the same platform width as the 12"! The 15 inch top is too small to stand or sit on. I'm 5ft 2cm and 100lbs so I don't have any issues but I wouldn't sit or stand on it if it was much taller, the seat portion just isn't big enough and too low to the floor to be comfortable to have sit up. Overall, accessing tall cabinets is more convenient and safer than what I've done in the past, which is climbing cabinets to access things.

Pros
  • Do not use as a step stool
Cons
  • Vulgarity
