Watch out for voltage spikes

I haven't had good experiences with this. I just plugged in my computer and monitor and the USB overvoltage BIOS warning keeps getting disabled. The strange thing is that it affects even what is not related to it. Tested by removing it completely from the house. Then it went well. Small things like the fan and the light may not be affected very much. But they still cause strange behavior elsewhere.
