We initially ordered this item because of the good reviews. Even read the comments, as we do with most products have done that we buy from Revain We were optimistic that this would be a great purchase Unfortunately our hopes were not justified Purchased to protect our newly purchased MacBook Pro Disclosure: Our MacBook Pro has no visible damage or other Attachments/products that could in any way affect the performance of the intended application of this product. The first thing that struck me was how cheap and flimsy it is. The material looks like very cheap plastic. Very fragile. Reminded us of cheap plastic that has been left outside for a season or two (weathered by the elements) Following the installation instructions my wife and I have several verses I have attempted to install this case with no success. The clips do not reach the edge of the laptop, so it cannot be attached to it. The instructions state that careful force must be used during installation. We assure you, gentle exertion will not help. Even after significant effort, enough to raise concerns about potential damage to the laptop itself, we found it to be useless. The packaging was just saran wrap. Which honestly shows that they don't even think or care about the customer. No problem if it contains at least one great product. Neither applies to this product. The protective film on the keyboard looked normal at first glance. Then I found that it wasn't properly aligned with the laptop's keys, nor was it secured and latched by any means other than gravity. The moment you tilt the laptop about 30-40 degrees, it starts to slide. Perhaps the small magnets built into the keyboard cover could work for a future "tip-tip" model; ) We don't want to attack the product, we just want to share our open experiences with others. Hope this helps you with your purchase decision. As for us, we will switch to another seller and model case. Much luck!
