Not only does this stuff smell absolutely amazing, it's the best baby toothpaste I've ever used. My 1 year old had some problems with sore and bleeding gums and NOTHING helped. I never failed to brush his teeth, especially since he started teething, but he always had gum problems and the dentist didn't help. Since we've been using this he hasn't had sore gums and the bleeding has stopped completely. Already after the first application there was a big difference. When I first used this it was a regular bright red toothbrush which struggled with my sore/sensitive areas. The second time I used this there was noticeably less blood on the toothbrush. Just a little pink and less struggling with sore spots. 3rd time I used it without the pink color on the toothbrush. There was one sore/tender spot left and by the fourth time I used it there were no more sore spots and it opened its mouth by itself so I could brush my teeth. It was so difficult and heartbreaking to brush my teeth in front of this kids balm paste. and now it's a breeze.
