Awesome boots for any terrain, including waterfall bottoms!

I needed a solid shoe for a trip to Iceland and the UK and it was bulletproof! I have a lot of foot problems (previously broken bones in my heel and ball of my foot) which means I have a lot of pain and fatigue in my foot. I also tend to dislocate my knee so I need non-slip shoes. I usually wear a size 10-10.5 and a size up to 11 knowing I will be wearing thick wool socks and my feet will probably swell a bit after long walks. They turned out to be a lot better than I thought: they are strong and supportive but very comfortable and soft on the inside. They are fairly light and don't need to be broken; I had no blisters or chafing. The thick soles allowed me to trudge over sharp lava rocks, uneven cobblestones, mud, wet grass and most impressively, through several inches of cold running water over slippery rocks at the foot of waterfalls! My feet stayed dry and warm and never slipped. Other people jumped from rock to rock at the base of the falls, but I just walked right through the water and to places I wouldn't have dared to go with other shoes. At the end of the day, after daily walks and hikes for several miles, my legs get tired before my legs, and I can't remember feeling like this before! These shoes made my vacation so much more enjoyable and allowed me to enjoy amazing views while not leaving my feet feeling sore or tired.
