After my old four year old bedspread had huge tears and holes and the bottom started to peel and run all over the place, I knew it was time to buy a new one before he his trades. I've spent hours and hours looking at each cover and this one is the best! It came beautifully packaged in a lovely drawstring pouch in a lovely box. It also had instructions, a seat belt, and side mounts (I personally didn't need any of those). The fabric seems to be of great quality and there was no smell so I'm sure it's safe for my pup as well which is very important and something other brands seem to lack. I love the pockets like in my old suitcase and especially the mesh material in the middle! What I'm really happy about compared to my old one is how much better this one adapts to stay in place; It's like it was made for my Equinox after I adjusted the straps! I definitely don't recommend this for less than my car; it would just be too long and I could barely use the anchors to squeeze into my seats because the trunk is only slightly longer than my rear seats. What I really hope for and will test soon is the ease of cleaning and water resistance. It was absolutely impossible to get rid of the fur from my last case, so if this one is 1% lighter I'll be happy! My only minor complaint, which all cases seem to have, is the seat belt slot. When inserted, the entire gap stays open/the velcro doesn't stay closed where there is no seat belt, meaning dirt, fur, water, crumbs, etc. get stuck in my leather seats as well. with velcro which makes it messy. I wish it had velcro and buttons or something to keep it closed like the zippered side panel, or smaller slits big enough for the seat belt to squeeze through. All in all this seems like the best cover you can get and I will recommend my friend to replace it with this one too when he retires.
