I bought this because I needed jewelry for my dog. And that was great, but the clasp doesn't work if you have a dog that likes to roll in the grass. When your dog doesn't roll in the grass, this buckle is perfect for you. This is a great easy button closure. But as said, if your pet rolls on the grass, it will move the clasp down and you will lose the chain. I lost it twice and had to find it. The third time she opened it herself, I actually lost it forever and bought another one. Same brand and company but this one has a release button on each side of the clasp so it's not a button on top which worked much better, she can't push it herself and it stays on, she had no problems with it so there is something nice The clasp is shiny but it opens by pushing the top of the clasp that your dog can open himself. So I recommend buying one that has two activation springs on each side instead of just a button on top.
