Motorhome must be! in irons and steamers

As someone else mentioned the lid is flimsy (thin) but a good standard spare soft lined lid can be added although it will cover the hanging hook as it is pointed for a snug fit Part ensures the end I had to collect the excess at the back end. A hanging hook is a great idea, but I don't have room in my van closet to hang an ironing board, so it folds up and stores in the closet. With a better finish, this ironing board is just as good as the one I have. Only at home can I now be sure that the clothes I have taken with me on the way can be ironed if necessary. Many (small) travel ironing boards have no free space under the pointed end to iron a shirt on. Some other collapsible (small) ironing boards have legs that make it difficult to use the pointed end. The folding legs are strong when unfolded when the ironing board is on the table. When we're not traveling anymore, I use it in my sewing room as a small ironing area next to the sewing machine for repairs. I'm surprised this isn't sold in quilting stores.
