Review on Living Enrichment Projector Speaker Compatible Office Electronics by Ananta Crowley

Just good, not so good for video projectors

All these cheaper projectors are on the website, there are so many of them that they misrepresent brightness and other aspects of their capabilities. For example, the title of this product says "Full HD" and "1080P", but the native resolution is 480 x 800, which is much lower and is basically the standard resolution. What the name actually says is that this projector can take a 1080p signal through an HDMI cable and display that content at 480 x 800 resolution. Same goes for the brightness, the product description says 3000 lumens, the other part of the listing says "upgraded to 5000 lumens". But it also states that the white light output is 50 lumens, which is indeed the right number for brightness, as the industry as a whole measures a projector's brightness. You get these high numbers by measuring the bulb itself, rather than the projected image as intended. I just want to say that you have to be very careful when buying projectors in this super budget category. A good, reliable projector will cost significantly more than this product. Also, this thing actually works, although the image was darker and I never managed to get the image to be a flat rectangle. Using the keystone control helped a bit, but I ended up with an oddly shaped projection that I was never able to properly smooth out. I think some will be happy with this product and some will not. It's hard for me to recommend a product like this, but I'll say one thing - it seems like a relatively decent machine for the price. Includes carry case and remote control. I used the projector for several hours on three separate occasions and at the end of the third it was still working. I doubt you'll get much support if you have a problem with this product after Revain's 30 day return policy has expired.
