These gloves were warm and mostly waterproof. I am a woman with very large hands (just like my dad). Unfortunately on 12/31/18 while wearing the gloves on a very cold night hiking to my mailbox I fell down the side of my driveway and head over heels into a stream. While crawling out I lost one of the gloves. I'm not sure I would have made it out of the stream had I not had the gloves on to help me crawl out. I lost one of the gloves somewhere during my crawl back toward my home. I will not be able to look for the lost glove until I am out of the Neck Brace (I broke my neck when I fell). But when I am well again I am going to look for my lost glove - wish me luck
