I love these dishes. At first I thought I didn't like the bowls as they are quite big but I love them. They won't spill your soup on themselves as they have a large rim around them. although the bowls are not dishwasher safe. There are also small imperfections around the edges of some of the dishes, but not enough to make me want to send them back. I like mugs, although I don't usually want my mugs to have a dark interior. They are easy to keep up with my arthritis.
