First, they look better than plastic (*sigh*) or paper (*sigh*) plates. I really like how big they are. They hold a lot and feel so sturdy in the hand. Second, they're still disposable, but you can also compost them into your green waste or compost. Even if you don't have compost or green waste, these aren't as bad for landfill as paper or plastic. They completely decompose into waste after 6 months. Third, you can still cut them with a knife and they won't crack or break. to look more sophisticated, then these plates are for you!
