I was skeptical to buy it because of the price and cheap design. However, the passive circuit for the ground loop isolator is hard to screw up, so I decided to give it a try. I used a really good solid 1/4" passive isolator with good quality cables to transfer my computer's built in audio to an external audio interface so I can control both directions from one knob. I switched interfaces and it had 1/4. The 8" input is specifically for this purpose, so I decided to downgrade to a smaller, less invasive cable. By daisy chaining this unit, all CPU interference and Fixed power fluctuations and as an audio pro I have meters that show it didn't change the frequency response much in my setup Just what I need It looks REALLY ugly so I hid it so I never have to see it !
