DO NOT BUY THIS LINE! The manufacturer has to change the clasp. THAT DOES NOT WORK. The LEAD itself is good. Nice foam grip. High-quality processed leash. BUT THE LOCK IS SHIT. Within 15 minutes of my dog being tied to the leash, the clasp came loose from my pup's harness. The 30ft leash was fully extended and my 40lb medium sized pup gave the leash a few tugs and the clasp came loose and my 1 year old untrained off leash pup was walking down my street (in the city of Philly mind you). ). free and amazed/terrified by my frantic calls for her to come back. The problem with the clasp is that the sliding clasp that covers the clip's hook won't snap into place. It closes the clasp but slips very easily so the slightest movement of the clasp can dislodge the latch. It is not screwed down like many carabiners of this type, so there is nothing to prevent it from slipping. The manufacturer says it's a lockable hook, but it doesn't lock. I want this to be known so no dog will go off the leash and get lost or injured. The manufacturer needs to upgrade the locking latch and make it truly lockable by screwing it on.
