I've been riding the NB 1080 for many years and am happy with it, but I heard the 1080 NB line will have less cushioning so they added the Fresh Foam More line. I looked through the reviews and found issues with the V2 that were fixed in the V3, but I got the V2 for $90 versus $165 for the V3. I'll try V3 sometime when V4 comes out. The FF More V2 has a wider toe box than the 1080. I get 1080's at 11 1/1 4E and would get them at 6E if it were available. The 1080s have a slightly tapered tip. So my toes were very happy with the FF More V2. The FF More V2 has a very long tongue and grips the ankle well. The downside is that you have to sit down to put them on and take them off. Just putting it on and taking it off is quite difficult. The heel counter at the back makes that a bit difficult. I can live with that as it means a better fit. As far as I know, this has been partially fixed in V3. On the inside of the girl's collar were two pieces of white netting, unattached on one side. I was able to just squeeze one of them that was bent before putting my foot in. I'm thinking about using glue or tape to secure it in place, or maybe sewing something. The shoe has a much smaller drop and there seems to be more foam under the toes and metatarsal bones making for a very comfortable ride. The heel feels a bit softer too, but I'd say the 1080s have a lot of cushioning there. a few miles. Didn't see it on mine after my first run, but I ran on a treadmill. I plan to keep them in my bag and only use them for indoor running (treadmill or track). I like them, although I'll probably run mostly 1080s and use them once or twice a week.
