SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AGED 3-6

Intimidated by the 'normal' messy paint sets and disposable paper books that use water to activate I decided to purchase a spiral set of these reusable paints. TIP BOOKS with water, using "brush pens" filled with water to help children create beautiful pictures. For me, the REAL beauty is that they aren't too messy, they can be used over and over again, and the activity is fairly self-contained (the pen brush has its own storage space in the book when not in use). . To apply, simply fill the tank with water using the brush pen, sweep over the image and watch it transform into a colorful image. Paintings dry fairly quickly (sometimes too quickly if your child spends too much time painting), but if your little artist overdoes it with water, it may stain a little. To make it easier to draw several pictures in a book, we put half a sheet of kitchen paper over each finished picture. There. 1) A child can roll up a page with a spiral edge and move on to the next page without worrying about the "mess" caused by excessive water flow while drawing. 2) The paper towel will help absorb excess water and close the page faster dry 3 ) Improved drying by towels , protects the integrity of cardboard sides which tend to warp easily when wet (although they will return to normal once fully dried). We find that each page takes at least 30-60 minutes to dry on average, so it's good to have a few books on hand to allow for more "painting time" and enough time for the pages to finish can dry. dry. My 4 year old grandson looks forward to "painting" on his weekly visits to my house. We have four of these books that we rotate to avoid "boredom" from repetition and give him more drawing time as he moves from one book to another. He likes picture books as well as books with numbers and the alphabet. It keeps him busy, stimulates him, educates him (numbers/alphabet), makes him feel productive and is generally fun and new to him. And of course, as a busy grandma, I really appreciate the non-dirty aspect of this creative craft.
