It takes a little practice, but it's worth it!

Firstly, I'm doing this on myself, so having someone else do it to you is a little harder than I can imagine. So if you're nervous about trying this (especially the first time), I suggest your trusted friend use it on you. But if you're like me and you can't use the friend system right now, you can also apply on your own with a little practice. First I would suggest watching some YouTube videos. Many of them have little tricks and tips that help. Second, apply one eye at a time. I squeezed half of each pouch into a separate ring holder for the first eye and left the rest in the pouch until I was ready for the second eye. Works great. Also note that it takes a little practice. When I first tried this I didn't cut the rubber strips enough, I couldn't get the glue to stick, I think I got something in my eye because it was burning like crazy. Many rude words came out of my mouth that day! In fact, I pretty much swore off the whole thing until I saw that despite my clumsy efforts, he managed to lift my lashes a bit. So much so that I decided to try again after 6 weeks to see if I was better the second time (spoiler alert: the second time was easier). Normally my lashes stand up straight, but as you can see from the photos, this set really works! (They were done right after I finished my extensions, so I still have some lash moisturizer on one eye. Ignore that part.) Here are my tips and tricks, learned through trial and error: Imagine sure the little rubber pads are small enough for you to view them comfortably. I took a piece of paper and made pencil marks on the inside of each eye rim, then used that as a template to cut the rubber pads to size. They won't stick if they're too big to rest on your eyelids. Don't be afraid to trim them and round the edges so they don't cut into your eyelid. I then took an eyelash curler and curled all of my lashes to hold them in place. I didn't do it the first time, and it was harder to glue the protruding lashes. At least the eyelash curler is pointing her in the right direction. Then really smear that glue. Don't skimp on it. My lashes held better the second time, but I still slipped a thin latex glove over one hand and held the lashes in place with my finger for 12 minutes. Annoying but effective. Finally, since I've completely stopped using mascara (everything smears on me. Even smudge-proof, waterproof and other long-lasting. I'm sick of looking like a raccoon so I stopped using it), I'm waiting 24 hours after this lift and then 1000 hours of eyelash tinting. The combination of the lift and tint gives me beautiful lashes for about 6 weeks without having to fiddle with curlers or mascara. So yes, it's a good kit that takes some practice at first, but it really works. I am impressed!
