Review on Maximizing Performance: Unleashing Power with the Volant 15857 Cool Air Intake Kit by Jason Hayes

I installed it on a 1995 Chevy Siverado with a 5.7 liter engine. Really screwed up better and neater than most people would like. The filter arrived lubricated and clean and was installed in about 30 minutes. That cool air intake really helped improve throttle response and mid-to-high-rpm shifting. I have oversized tires and a stock gearbox. Before he donned this he was a real snail off the leash and almost seemed to fall face down. And after installation, the feeling that the car is completely different. It really helped with low torque, especially with my big tires. As far as sound goes, there's no squeaky cab noise like the similar K&N filter. I don't know how that affects fuel economy as only half a tank of gas went through. I really like this product.
