I was very lucky to find an outdoor exploration kit for my son and I am happy with the types of products included in this kit but they are all of very cheap quality. This is not an outdoor exploration kit, it is a "pretend outdoor exploration kit". The compass doesn't work, the magnifying glass and binoculars are of poor quality, the sample packs aren't bad, but they're not great either. The flashlight broke quickly. The sample collector wasn't even straight. I can say that it gave me an idea of what items to look for to put in an actual set, but we ended up giving the set to his little sister so she could play explorer with him.
