This porcelain tile is made in England. It's dishwasher safe, has a handy bowl for soup and cereal, won't crack or break, and is beautiful. I have another set of four with a different pattern, also by Churchill, so mix and match. The white field is definitely white, so it is also suitable for white bone china like Mikasa. I use it for kitchenware and am very happy with it. It comes with a large dinner or dinner plate that is slightly scooped so pasta dishes for your little ones will be comfortable in this set - also a cup, saucer and small side plate in a set of four.
