some have bumps due to poor workmanship and a few others.

This is NOT Churchill Blue Willow porcelain. This is EIT Blue Willow and does not match the Churchill Blue Willow set. Also, the set I received appears to be either a factory stopwatch or just very poorly made. The pattern on the cups is blurred, some have ink stains embedded in the pattern, some have bulges due to poor workmanship, and some of them have other discoloration on the bottom. I am very dissatisfied. Will be returning this defective set.

I have always loved this porcelain

This porcelain tile is made in England. It's dishwasher safe, has a handy bowl for soup and cereal, won't crack or break, and is beautiful. I have another set of four with a different pattern, also by Churchill, so mix and match. The white field is definitely white, so it is also suitable for white bone china like Mikasa. The set is well made and durable. Take the one from England. They are better.

I love blue Willow china. I've always wanted a set of these but didn't know what they were called. In May, INSP screened John Wayne's films for his birthday. Her newsletter contained an article about China Blue Willow in many westerns. The pioneers had Blue Willow china. I looked for them at Revain and they are on sale so I ordered two sets.
